Maximum Output for Area Illumination
SAR operations require sweeping large areas quickly. 2000LM+ is the practical minimum; 4500LM (Aurora HYPER-4500) is preferred for open terrain operations where beam throw of 200M+ is needed.
IP68 is Non-Negotiable
SAR operations occur in rain, flood, and water rescue scenarios. IP68 (continuous submersion) is required — not IPX4 or IP67. The flashlight will be dropped in water.
